So following on from me look baxk at the yeat past, it’s time to look at what films are heading our way this year. Like most years this looks like another year of sequels! It all kicks off with the return of the boxing legend, Rocky Balboa.  Looks pretty good, actually better then it should, he is 60 after all. Chack out the trailer here: http://www.apple.com/trailers/mgm/rockybalboa/trailer2/

The biggest sequels obviously turn up in the summer with the first biggie and possible biggest film of the year, Spiderman 3. The trailers have shown a surprising amount apart from venom. See for yourself here:  http://www.apple.com/trailers/sony_pictures/spider-man_3/large.html

Spiderman isn’t the only comic book character back this summer with the long awaited appearance of the Silver Surfer not in his own film but in the Fantastic Four:Rise Of The Silver Surfer. The first film got a lot of flack but was still a fun film, and this looks like more of the same. Check out the trailer: http://www.apple.com/trailers/fox/fantasticfourriseofthesilversurfer/hd/

One of the biggest animated films sees it’s second sequel arrive this summer with Shrek The Third. Believe it or not but this is the first of two more films in the series. The railer looks pretty funny with the return of all the regulars. Watch it here: http://www.apple.com/trailers/paramount/shrekthethird/t_large.html

It wouldn’t be summer wthout the appearance of a camp sailor as well, yes Captain Jack returns in Pirates Ot The Carribean: The Ends Of The World. As with the past films the story is being kept very hush hush, and there isn’t even a trailer yet!

In what is a surprise return, George and the guys return in Oceans Thirteen, with them returning to Las Vegas, with trouble in the form of Al Pacino. Hopefully this will be better than the frankly dodgy Oceans Twelve!

Following the revival of Rocky another 80’s hero returns with Live Free Die Hard, aka Die Hard 4. This time John Mclane is dealing with cyber terrorists who are trying to put the US into the dark ages. http://playlist.yahoo.com/makeplaylist.dll?id=1536592&sdm=web&qtw=480&qth=300

It wouldn’t be a movie year without wizards, so we have the return of Harry Potter in, Harry Potter and The Order Of The Phoenix. Trailer: http://www.apple.com/trailers/wb/harrypotterandtheorderofthephoenix/large.html

There are also a couple of films that aren’t sequels that could be huge this year. Firstly theres the feature film debut of everyone’s favourite disfunctional family with The Simpsons Movie. Personally this is what I am looking forward to the most. Have a laugh here: http://www.apple.com/trailers/fox/thesimpsonsmovie/trailer2_large.html

And finally what could be the sleeper hit of the summer Transformers. Yes the robots are here and not a citreon in sight, with Michael Bay and Steven Spielberg collaborating it could be massive. Check it out:  http://www.transformersmovie.com/main.html
