When Pixar’s contract with Disney ran out, the mouse house announced that they were going to make a third Toy Story film, all on their own as they had the rights to the film. For fans of the first two films this was bad news, as lately Disney have been releasing poor straight to DVD sequels to many of their classic films. A Toy Story film without Pixar’s involvement sounded like the biggest mistake ever! Thankfully Disney saw sense and agreed to a new deal with Pixar, which actually saw John Lassiter and his team take over Disney’s animation department. We now have the great news that Pixar are going to make the third part of the Toy Story, and that Tom Hanks and Tim Allen will be returning to reprise their respective roles of Woody And Buzz. The film is scheduled for 2009!
